What do I do with payments and money when in Korea?

Tourists have been experinencing problems when paying with debit/credit - cards in Korea. If possible, bring multiple cards, and check with your bank before leaving. There are ATM’s available, and they should work for most cards, but you might have to carry some cash. Most places take both cards, and cash. More information about this can be found in the links below.

When do Max & Minji arrive?

Arrival: 06th of July Departure: 26th of August

Are there any plans on the days following the wedding?

The 09th of August is a designated rest day. On the 10th of August, we were thinking of travelling to Busan https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Busan/

Where we are planning to stay until the 12th. This is something we want, and encourage, you all to join! We want to pay for the accommodation here, so if you are already booking your flights, make sure you don’t leave before this!

Where should I stay?

Myeong-dong - many hotels, a bit closer, lot of tourist areas.

Hongdae - a bit further away, but in the middle of the party scene, lots of hostels and airbnbs, lots of pubs, cafés and so on. (Recommend)

Gangnam - further away from the centre, closer to the wedding area.

What should I wear for the wedding?

Studentgalla! Wear something nice and formal! No pressure when it comes to buying something completely new (bunad is OK!)
